Column Trays & Tray Parts
New and replacement distillation trays, built to your column drawings or measured on site, plus loose tray valves, caps, clamps and manway fasteners for turnarounds.
Each tray acts as one stage of separation: good vapour–liquid contact on every tray means fewer trays, lower energy use and a more stable column. We fabricate complete tray sets (decks, downcomers, weirs, beams, clamps and manways) to the original drawings or to a revamp design.
Large trays are trial-assembled on the shop floor before dispatch: a recent order of four dual-flow trays, 3.6 m diameter, was laid out and checked in our Senai workshop. For turnarounds we also supply valves, caps and fasteners in bulk.

Tray Types
Sieve Trays
Simple perforated decks: low cost, good fouling resistance, but a narrower operating range.
Valve Trays
Fixed or moving valves over the deck holes: wide turndown and good efficiency. The most common choice for new columns.
Bubble-Cap Trays
Caps over risers hold liquid at low vapour rates: excellent turndown but the heaviest and most expensive type.
Dual-Flow Trays
No downcomers, vapour and liquid share the same holes: high capacity and fouling resistance.
