- Product and quantity, with tag or item numbers if replacing existing parts
- Line size, pressure class, design pressure and temperature
- Process fluid and any corrosive components (chlorides, H₂S, acids, caustic)
- Material of construction or applicable specification (PTS, ASME, API)
- Drawings, datasheets or photos of the existing item
- Required delivery date and site location; inspection and document requirements
