Temporary Cone, Basket & Plate Strainers
Fitted between existing flanges to catch construction debris, weld spatter and scale during commissioning, start-up and the first weeks after a turnaround.
New and modified piping almost always holds debris. A temporary strainer, fitted between two flanges with no change to the line, protects pumps, compressors, turbines and instruments until the system is clean.
We make cone (TC), basket (TB) and flat plate (TP) styles from 3/4" to 24" and larger, sized for open area from 100 % to 300 % of the pipe bore. Stiffening rings and cross bracing stop the screen collapsing under high differential pressure.
